Mardi Gras Boat Parade!
The 27th Annual Yachty Gras Boat Parade will take place
February 7th, 2026
​The Yachty Gras Grand Night Boat Parade is a family friendly event that takes place in Clear Lake. The boats start in the lake and pass by the Kemah Boardwalk, turning around in Galveston Bay and heading back. This event is where boaters will decorate their boats in Mardi Gras decorations, lights, and all out fun filled themes! They throw beads to the cheering crowd on Kemah Boardwalk, sometimes making more than one pass for maximum bead throwing!

Each year we are proud to partner with various businesses and the cities of the area so that we can help promote the Bay Area itself, and the businesses in the Clear Lake and surrounding areas. Be in the Boat Parade
Being in the boat parade is a great and exciting time! Besides the fun of decorating, throwing beads, and spending time with friends, there is also the boaters awards breakfast where the top 3 sailboats, and top 3 power boats will all earn an award and recognition for all their efforts. Many other awards are given out at this breakfast, so REGISTER HERE and join the 27th annual parade today!
Watch the Parade
The Parade starts promptly at 7pm starting with powerboats and finishing with sailboats. The boats will come under Kemah bridge passing first by The Aquarium and lastly Landry's and boardwalk rides. Boaters will throw mardi gras beads to whoever can catch!! Some boats pass by more than once. So make plans to come watch and enjoy some maritime Mardi Gras fun!
