Volunteer With Us
Yachty Gras began back in 1999 by a handful of rogue boats owners throwing beads for fun to unsuspecting folks on the Kemah Boardwalk. We have carried on this fun tradition for over 25 years, and have grown from a few boats to over 30 each and every year.

The renegade boat owners of yore are now organized and have a managed team of volunteers who work to raise funds, and organize events so that this parade can carry on in full display of purple, green and gold, bringing fun and beads to the masses along the Kemah Boardwalk! This time, of course, the masses are fully aware!
Meetings and Events
Meetings: The volunteers meet on the first Wednesday of every month, increasing in frequency closer to the parade. The meetings may be moved as necessary, so always check to make sure the meeting is as planned.

Next Meeting: Wednesday August 7th. Join us for our first full meeting of the year! We will have food and drinks and hope to see some new faces ready to help and have a good time!

Volunteer Events: From time to time the volunteers gather for some fun time together, or to promote Yachty Gras at community events.
Currently no events are on the books, but we'll keep everyone updated here or on Facebook for the next time we plan an outing!
