Grand Night Boat Parade

Date:  February 22nd , 2025 

Time and Place: 

  For Boaters:  Approximately 6pm in Clear Lake near Endeavor.  Exact time and place will be given during the mandatory Skippers Meeting.

  On the Kemah Boardwalk:  Estimated parade start is 7pm.

Family Friendly Parade: Starting in Clear Lake, passing by Kemah Boardwalk, and turning around in Galveston Bay.  

 

Decorate your boat in lights, colors, and pick a theme if you like!  ​​Stock up on beads, you're going to need them!​​

If you, your krewe or guests are staying at hotels during the Yachty Gras Grand Night Boat Parade or events, please list the hotel names here. Thank you!

Each Captain and Krewe is responsible for insurance and any damages that may be caused to their boat and/or personal property. Skippers are required to attend the Skippers Meting to receive up to date briefing on weather, police rules and tide information that might affect the parade route. The sponsors or underwriters of this event and Yachty Gras Inc., Yachty Gras Foundation, Yachty Gras Board & Committee Members will not be held liable for any damages.

Judging: The Three classes of judging are Power, Sail, and Sponsored. Each parade boat will be judged in their class for the categories of theme, music, lighting, creativity, costumes and enthusiasm for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class. The parade boat with the overall highest score will be awarded “Best of Show”.
